| Neighborhood Home Buyers Club (NHBC) |
| – is designed to address the needs of the South East Asian immigrants
in becoming homeowners. It is designed to provide participants with homeownership
skills, including money management, home financing, loan application, home
maintenance, indoor air quality management, and building systems evaluation.
The target audience includes primarily Hmong and Laotian families who are
currently living in rental housing in North Minneapolis Neighborhoods. This
program will offer new immigrants the incentive to become owners of affordable
and safe housing, and to become permanent contributing members to their
Community.
